JA Finance Park begins with 13 in-class, teacher-led lessons, guided by our curriculum, aligned with national and state standards. These lessons cover topics like income, expenses, savings, investments, and careers. 

The lessons culminate in a one-day visit to our live, immersive learning center, housed at Miami’s I-Tech campus. Students will receive a real-life scenario for their futures, including job, salary, credit score, and family situation. They’ll then travel among JA Finance Park storefronts to learn about each business and expense category, and make budgeting and spending decisions.

Students are guided through the simulation by volunteers from local businesses and the community, who lead discussions with students around each expense and share real-world experiences.
